Therefore, you are not only buying a quality candle but you will be supporting a very worthwhile charity at the same time.
It could be argued that Price’s Candles were one of the pioneering candle makers of environmentally friendly and sustainable candles, when in 1830 William Wilson the founder of Price’s candles used palm oil from palm trees in West Africa to make candles. While the company was originally based in Vauxhall, London it wasn’t long before it relocated to Liverpool due to dockside facilities and while its fortunes and ownership have changed over the years its quality of product and customer care has not. The company’s full name is Price’s Patent Candles and they still hold the Royal Warrant for the supply of candles. Price’s candles have been used at the Duke of Wellington’s funeral as well as Sir Winston Churchill. They were also used at the wedding of Princess Elizabeth and her subsequent coronation. Prince Charles followed the tradition of using Price’s candles when he married Lady Diana and sadly they were used at the funeral of Princess Diana.
Price’s Sherwood candles are a regular feature at state dinners and functions. If you require quality candles at your own functions you can do no better than purchase Price’s Sherwood candles.
This year, 2011, Price’s candles have introduced several new scents into their Luxury scented candle range. These are:
Evening Flowers, Vanilla Amber, White Lavender & Camomile, Citrus Green Tea, Cypress and Patchouli, Fig & Blackpepper and Chocolate and Orange. These scented candles come in three jar sizes, small, medium and large with correspondingly three price ranges.
Price’s candles have also introduced five new Reed Diffusers in the following scents:
Red Tea of Bali, Tea Rose, Sweet Vanilla, Green Tea and Ocean Spray. These reed diffusers are perfect for those areas where it would not be wise to have a lit candle. They will also provide the home with an all day scent, if required, without the worry of supervision.
