Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free delivery to Scottish Highlands and all offshore/overseas areas.
Delivery methods and insurance.
For UK Deliveries we use either Royal Mail First or Second Class, or a recognised national courier, currently this is a FedEx. The national carriers will require a signature on delivery.
For delivery to Europe or the USA we use the Royal Mail, actual costs of these deliveries will be provided and agreed with the customer before orders are shipped. A signature will be required for all non-UK deliveries.
All deliveries will be securely packaged, and should arrive in first class condition. If your order arrives in a damaged state, please sign and note on the delivery form that the parcel was received in a damaged state and inform us immediately.
Delivery would normally be from stock. However, if an item is out of stock we will notify you by email and agree alternative arrangements before any order is posted. We aim to post all orders within 24 hours of being received and UK customers should receive their purchases within 5 working days. Delivery to non-UK destinations may take longer, however, all customers will be notified as soon as their order has been dispatched. We will keep customers fully informed at all times as to the status of their order.
No Quibbles Guarantee
Our no quibbles guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item is faulty, defective, or youve just had a change of mind or it is not what you expected you may return the item to us unused in its original condition within 14 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund. We would respectfully request that you contact us at email@example.com, before posting the returns. Customer will be responsible for the cost of postage of the returned item.
Returns and Refund Policy
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will re-credit your card immediately, un-cashed cheques will be posted within 1 day. Cashed cheques will be refunded within 12 working days of receiving your cancellation.
If you wish to cancel your order after your order has been dispatched please email us at email@example.com, before returning your purchase within 7 days for a full refund of the cost of the item. Any refund will be made within the terms stated above on receipt of the returned goods arriving in the condition they were sent and suitable for resale. The cost of the delivery will be deducted from the refunded amount. If the goods were sent with "Free Delivery" then the cost of postage, paid by us, will be deducted from any refunds. The customer is responsible for postage for any returned items. We strongly recommend that the customer obtain proof of postage for any returned item(s) and we would respectfully, request that you notify us by email once the return items have been posted.
Any defective product should in the first instance be reported to us and in return we will, pursue a replacement or refund. If we see it appropriate, Lewis Retail Limited - Trading, as Candlegiftideas.co.uk will replace the item, at our discretion, however before any action is undertaken we will keep the customer fully informed.
